- Temps – lows of 40 degrees with highs of 70’s
- WSNP has no shade so even with the moderate temperatures it was very warm. Recommend hiking sandals, hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water.

- I hiked majority of the day and then went to the local Planet Fitness in Alamogordo to change into a flowy outfit for a sunset photoshoot (Highly Recommend)
- White Sands National Park
- Alkali Flat Trail – 5 miles round trip
- Dune Life Nature Trail – 1 mile roundtrip
- Playa Trail – 0.4 miles roundtrip
